Located in the center of Shanghai City south of Huaihai Zhong Lu, Shanghai Xin Tian Di has become an urban tourist attraction that holds the historical and cultural legacies of the city. Shanghai Xin Tian Di is a fashionable pedestrian street composed of Shikumen and modern architecture style. Shanghai Xin Tian Di has become the best place for tourists to appreciate the history and modern life of the city, and is also a meeting place for local citizens and foreign visitors.
From Huangpi Road (S) Station [LINE 1]: The most direct route is out of EXIT 3. The map is deceiving ... you CAN go along Madang Road "through" the Huangpi Road (S) Station, which is underground!
Madang Road - Xin Tian Di starts from the corner with the tall yellow building. Madang Road is not very pedestrian friendly. However, there is a beautiful landscaped pathway running along the left of the road leading directly to Xin Tian Di. Follow the Xin Tian Di signs.
Corner of Madang and Taicang Roads - Giant tennis racquets and Starbucks dominate at the Xin Tian Di pedestrian street entrance.
Map of the Xin Tian Di shops - on a pillar outside Starbucks. Directions to The Coffee Bean - The Coffee Bean is Shop 10.
Xin Tian Di pedestrian street - Walk past the waterfall and The Coffee Bean is in the depths ... on the left. The Coffee Bean -The Shanghai Expats meet inside, so enter and go to the rear of the building.
Shanghai Expat Meeting Spot - When you come to the Shanghai Expat banner ... you are HOME! ... and amongst friends. 10% OFF Discount Card - Remember to ask for your Discount Card before ordering drinks or meals. This is a special treat for Shanghai Expat members.
